My daughter and I were in Home Depot last week looking for a couple items for a small home project.
I didn't notice them, but my daughter did. A little boy and his grandmother. He had been watching me (wearing my chemo scarf for a head covering). He grabbed his grandmother's hand and said, rather excitedly, "Look Gramma! That lady is wearing a pirate cap!"
I wish I'd been wearing a black eye-patch, for if I had, surely nobody would ever suspect I was a chemo patient!

That is one of the cutest stories ever!
You should have looked at him and growled, "Arrgh, Matie..."
Kids say the darnedest thing.
Hahha, very cute! Add a parrot on the shoulder and you'd be complete.

Sweet boy, he thought you were rockin the pirate look, My dad has skin cancer, he had to muscles removed, in his neck and shoulder and it literally left him looking like half of his neck is missing, kids are always amazed by him, but one boy called him a monster my dad was so upset. But kids will be kids. And my boys don't even notice that about their grandpa.
